I wrote this on a plane before I saw Chris' post, which makes largely the same point...
So, I just don't get it. Especially given the site is so unreliable. Do people actually put twitter feeds into their RSS readers? Surely that is crazily annoying?
Perhaps it's just Scoble et al being "irrationally exuberant" again.
