Hi all,
We have a series of stored procs that do cross
server queries, this is fine and works with no problem, however, we regularly
restore this production database to dev environments, and the sp’s break
due to pointing to the live db.
I am wondering how other people handle this sort of issue.
When have a couple of solutions, from dynamic sql, to agent jobs that update
the sp definition once moved, but there has got to be a better why.
Thanks
