I am setting up debugging stored procs using VS2005 and SQL2005, but am alarmed at the need for the user to be a part of the sysadmin role. To quote http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/w1bhybwz(VS.80).aspx 'The application account is the user account that Visual Studio or the client application is running under. This account is a Windows user account, and must be a member of the sysadmin group in the SQL Server being debugged.' Is there a way around this, as I do not want to give programmers sysadmin access?
