Subject: [SQLDownUnder] TOP 100 PERCENTHi Folks, I'm doing a code review at a site today. The code is littered with: SELECT TOP 100 PERCENT .... or SELECT DISTINCT TOP 100 PERCENT ... I've never seen anyone write that before. The optimiser seems to treat it as though there wasn't even a TOP statement at all (as you'd hope) but I'm dumbfounded as to what the coder could have had in mind. Has anyone else seen that?
