Hi Michael, If you want to start a SIG in Albury/Wodonga I'd be happy to help out with the occasional presentation where the lines between SQL Server and .NET blur (i.e. SQL Dev orientated stuff). It's a bit of a drive for every meeting but it it happened to be near a weekend I could possibly even convince my wife that it would be nice to spend a weekend in the area to see the sites :) Mitch Denny web: http://www.readify.net email: mitch.denny@xxxxxxxxxxx mobile: +61 (414) 610-141 blog: http://notgartner.com skype: callto://mitchdenny -----Original Message----- From: SQLDownUnderList@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:SQLDownUnderList@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Michael van der Veeke Sent: Friday, 4 March 2005 8:43 AM To: SQLDownUnder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SQLDownUnder] Country NSW/VIC Hello Everyone, I love to hear about meeting in the cities, but we have one major problem. Travel. It takes me 3 hrs to get to Melbourne and 6 to Sydney, 2 hr meeting and 3 or 6 home...thus a whole day. Perhaps we can organise to have meetings in Albury/Wodonga or setup a SIG here... Thoughts PS great to see an Australian group Regards, Michael van der Veeke Database Administrator Border Express Pty Ltd Phone: (02) 6022 6046 Mobile : 0419 419 547 Email : michaelvanderveeke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Web : http://www.borderexpress.com NOTICE The information contained in this electronic mail message is privileged and confidential, and is intended only for use of the addressee. Hi Greg, Yep. Travel time from work to the city is at least 30 minutes, plus 2 hours for the meeting makes a total of 3 hours break in the working day. Pete is a colleague and I assume he has the same concerns. Cheers, Darius. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg Low" <Greg.Low@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <SQLDownUnder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 03, 2005 11:32 PM Subject: RE: [SQLDownUnder] Adelaide SIG meetings? > Hi Pete & Darius, > > Is the day-time (ie lunch time) schedule the main problem? > > Regards, > > Greg > > -----Original Message----- > From: SQLDownUnderList@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:SQLDownUnderList@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Peter Davis > Sent: Thursday, 3 March 2005 9:41 PM > To: SQLDownUnder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: RE: [SQLDownUnder] Adelaide SIG meetings? > > Thanks Greg, > > I was looking for information regarding the Adelaide group.
