All of the downloads on this site have been signed with the GNU Privacy Guard, which is a free version of PGP. These signatures allow you to determine if the download has been tampered with or otherwise damaged in transit. The signatures may be verified with gpg or pgp.
My public key is also available if you want to send mikal a secure message, and is needed before you can verify the signatues.

The following things things might be of interest when downloading these items:
The source download is a tarball, which you can then install as per the instructions in the file name INSTALL inside the tarball.
The Intel x86 RPM is Intel PC specific, and will not work on other systems such as Sun Sparc machines.
The source RPM should give you enough to build the package, but you are probably better off with the tarball for most cases. The source RPM is useful if you would like to make a RPM for a different architecture. Please send me a copy to post here if you do.

Panda 0.5.2 release is now available. It has a slight include file bug fix compared with 0.5, and a couple of other bug fixes...
