Automator and iTunes hates me

I can't see a way to get Automator to change the track rating (called "My Rating" in the iTunes user interface) in a workflow. This makes me very sad. I can't even see a way of running AppleScript as part of a workflow. Am I going blind? Is this possible?

Hi there! You might find iRate usefull: http://liquidpurpose.ath.cx/iRate/irate.php . It uses playcount, date added etc. to rate your iTunes library. By far the best automated rating script I found.

Now if only I could find an automatic BPM script...
