Why two, well one works with video4linux v1 applications (and isn't a very good web cam), and the other one is the fancy auto focussing nice web cam which works with video4linux 2 applications. Why is it that several years after video4linux 2 shipped, I still have to deal with this problem? Grumble. <br/><br/><i>Tags for this post: linux(<a href="http://www.stillhq.com/linux"><img src="http://www.stillhq.com/tagicon.cgi?post=/linux/v4l/000001&tag=linux&format=.png" border="0" alt="S"></a>) v4l(<a href="http://www.stillhq.com/v4l"><img src="http://www.stillhq.com/tagicon.cgi?post=/linux/v4l/000001&tag=v4l&format=.png" border="0" alt="S"></a>) </i><br/><i>Related posts: <a href="http://www.stillhq.com/link/000050.html">Hacking a webcam to be an IR camera</a>; <a href="http://www.stillhq.com/diary/toys/000047.html">Video4Linux 2 webcam applications?</a>; <a href="http://www.stillhq.com/travel/usa/000015.html">Back on the road again</a>; <a href="http://www.stillhq.com/linux/000054.html">v4l2 webcam software?</a>; <a href="http://www.stillhq.com/travel/usa/000009.html">Where in the world are Mikal and James</a></i> <br/><br/> <a href="http://www.stillhq.com/linux/v4l/000001.commentform.html">Comment</a> http://www.stillhq.com/linux/v4l/000001.html http://www.stillhq.com/linux/v4l/000001.html
