Libplot allows you to draw simple shapes like lines, polygons, rectangles and circles into a raster (an uncompressed, in memory bitmap). These shapes can be stroked (drawn as an outline), filled, or both. There is colour support as well.


You can now look at the CVS repository for libplot here.


Due to an organizational failure, I had inadvertently stolen someone else's name. I have therefore renamed by libplot to be called libmplot. The correct URL is now http://www.stillhq.com/cgi-bin/getpage?area=libmplot&page=index.htm.

My apologies for any inconvenience caused...

Libmplot 0.6

    I have been using libmplot extensively for a PDF project I have been working on, and have therefore found and resolved several important bugs in the line stroking implementation. You can download the latest version if you would like.

Libmplot 0.5

    Libmplot 0.5 is now available -- it features the following cool new things: Bezier curves, filled polygons, line widths, line dashing, and the name change. There is also more documentation. Get it from here.

New features under development

    The libmplot 0.5 release is getting closer. So far, it will contain: Bezier curves, line widths, drawing outside of the raster bounds will no longer cause crashes, filled polygons, and the name change.

    Filled polygons are today's work, and I think they are pretty neat:
