Segv is a segmentation violation error handler, which is useful for development debugging. It is not envisaged that users of GDMS will need to install this. Segv uses ld.so preload operations to catch segmentation violations, and display a backtrace. Dr Andrew Tridgell wrote segv. It can be downloaded from his website at http://junkcode.samba.org.
