Q: Is it possible to have an autorun.inf file on a CD that would cause Acrobat to open a PDF file on the CD when the CD was inserted? [Q90]

A: I wrote the document when v4.0 was current but it works fine for v4.05c. IMO the jury's out on using Reader v5.01 and CD as it does unwanted things like ask (by unchangeable default) whether you want to integrate Reader with your browser. Integrate a CD-based app with your browser - crazy! Unless you really need v5.x features I'd use v4.05c for the while on CD. That said apart from the filelists changing a bit, the v4 procedure as described in the PDF should be OK for v5.0.
