Tate talks about his troubles hiring a junior developer in Canberra for his startup. I sympathise... We've had a lot of troubles finding good C++ skills in Canberra for quite some time. I think it's made worse by UC's decision to drop their Computer Engineering course (the one I studied). They're letting people work out to the end, but not letting anyone new in.
