- Interesting. I'd have to agree that US immigration isn't fun, but it does heavily depend on which airport you use.

In that article they refer to the Travel Promotion Act making its way through congress as a way to improve the picture of America in the world. Never mind that that act comes with a $10 fee charged to every visa-exempted visitor to bolster this marketing budget. I.e. if you don't need a visa to enter the US for business or pleasure, you're getting charged $10 to support a marketing campaign so that more people like you come to the U.S. How backwards is that?
