    		This is another of Asimov's robot short story collections, and many of the stories appear in earlier works. In fact, I would recommend getting I, Robot and this book, and avoiding The Rest of the Robots if you're not interested in owning a complete collection of books, but do want to have all of the stories. I say you should get a copy of I, Robot mainly because it has linking matter between the stories that this book lacks.

    The Complete Robot is as good as Asimov's other short story books I have read, which means I thought it was fantastic.

    Ive been reading your posts about Asmiovs short story collections with some amusement - and now some confusion.

    I, Robot was the first short story collection that he published - as such it contains stories about various characters etc, The Rest of the Robots, as far as I am aware is only another collection of short stories - released later on, it takes some of the original and adds more in. Fair enough..

    But I am confused by your advice about getting all of the stories - I, Robot dost contain all the stories - nor does the combination of I, Robot and The Rest of the Robots - Surely the advice should be Go buy The Complete Robot, which, published after his death, contains every robot *short* story that he wrote (I believe there are a couple of robot stories missing about the detective bot who is in the complete robot with the story about the two mathematicians whos name has escaped me).

    I would say that unless you wanted a collection of books - if just having all the stories was your aim, that the Complete robot is your best choice, missing I, Robot and the rest of the robot (and all the ones which where just in magazines or other publications.
