I'm waiting for Beta 2 personally but it sounds like JS editing/debugging works ok in Beta 1
Also note that the multi targetting support will allow you to keep developing in 2.0 if you need to.

textpad + a _javascript_ syntax file will give you this.

this is typically what i use.

Ok VS sucks for _javascript_ editing. So what do the .net folks really use.

I just read some details about IntelliJ IDEA and it sounds kind of cute, built in refactoring etc.
I'm curious if anyone is using this or any other editors to do their core _javascript_ coding, or mention ones that plain right suck.

    Things that I'd like.
    • Notification of file modified/prompt to reload (since I'll have file open in VS and another editor at same time)
    • colour coding,
    • intellisense
    • squiggly lines for errors (I know I'm petty)
    Nice to have:
    • built in refactoring (simple) like method/function renames.

PS I'm on a PC not a Mac.

    Thanks,
    Jason
