The Data Repeater control in Visual Basic 6.0 allowed you to create a custom user control, bind it to your database and display one user control for each row of data on your form without having to write any code. It also meant you weren't tied to using the layout of a particular grid control, you could display the data anyway you wanted to. It would be great if we had this same ability in Visual Basic 2005.

The Data Repeater Control will allow you to display a custom set of controls for each row of data in your dataset. This control will give you more flexibility then using a standard grid control. This control is similar to DataRepeater control found in Visual Basic 6.0 but it's even simpler to use because you do not need create a UserControl first. All you do is simply drag and drop your dataset to the Repeater control and the designer will generate the controls for you. Vote for the Data Repeater Control
