Interesting that they have different
dialogs – normally these types of differences are a result of a different
profile template being selected the first time VS is run. Not saying this is
your issue but might be. Pretty certain under the Tools menu there is the
ability to Export/Import settings, which allows you reset back to one of the

installations of VS2005 have different New Project options, toolbars and menus? On machine A when I create a new C#
Windows application and the bottom of the dialog has these text boxes: Name: ____ Location: ______ Solution: _______ Solution Name: ______ On machine B only has a ‘Name:’ text box. On machine A the standard toolbar has a
combo to select the build configuration and the solution context menu has a
Configuration Manager menu. Machine B has none of those. What’s going on here? How can we fix it? Thanks |
