Thanks for the links chaps, I’ve been searching and searching for
clues, and I might have some. I’ve taken the drastic but conservative
step of uninstalling everything related to this issue except for VS2005 itself,
then I’ll download the latest copies of everything. The trick is ... what is the correct order
of installing which version of everything? I have some instructions on that, but
some of the steps I’m sure I never performed on my old machine, and it
was working correctly. So I get the typical confusion and contradictions over
too many components. If I find the answer I’ll let you know. Greg |
