I’ll try to clarify a few of the reasons those interest areas were advertised, in retrospect it does come across a bit confusing. We’re developing some flash interactivity for the site, like widgets, and so anyone who has had experience with flash would certainly be quite a valuable resource. The backend is developed in .NET (C#) running on Mono, and there are some concepts here that we’ve taken from the way ruby on rails behaves. So the assumption here is that someone who has experience in the model, view, controller approach to web development (even using rails) would “get it”. We develop using MonoDevelop on Linux, that’s where the whole open source software side of things comes into it. While we don’t use ruby on rails, we feel that people who have taken the time to learn a dynamic language such as ruby would be the motivated and self educating kind of people with whom we would like to work and would fit in with, and contribute to our team. I really appreciate the feedback on the ad. Cheers Chris On Mon, 2007-06-11 at 01:41 -0400, Nick Randolph wrote: Hmmm I can’t say the job really appeals to me.
