From what I seen of the material that the
candidates for the Architect certification have to submit, I certainly wouldn’t
hesitate to call anyone who passed the review a “real” architect. Apparently Microsoft are only planning to
have a relatively small number of certified architects world wide and the scope
and difficulty of the review reflect this. Regards, Luke Drumm Readify - Senior Consultant M: +61 414 512 375 From: peter@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:peter@xxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rael Dusheiko For those of you interested in certifications, there
are a number of new ones announced by Microsoft, including a Microsoft
Certified Architect. Even more off topic, but I have always wondered about the
validity of calling yourself an Architect… isn’t it one of those
‘protected’ professions like doctor or lawyer? Check out http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/default.asp Rael |
