    Speaking of movies...

Perhaps in the future schedule some "screenings" of MSDN TV (or others...
eg: PDC etc...) at user group meetings, or even regular screenings (as in
not part of regular user group meetings) for those who want to watch it, but
find it difficult to obtain a copy of the video.

For those that went, there was a brief video of Steve Balmer at TechEd at
the recent Victoria .NET UG meeting which was somewhat interesting.

Would others find this sort of thing interesting?

Err...I'd rather the download that MS provide did the whole thing for me.
I don't mind hacking away at some things, but this is supposed to be an end
user service. JUST WATCH A MOVIE - how hard can it be!!!

I dredged these from my IE cache (I think they're appropriate, from 2
popups involved while watching the streaming version) - tomorrow I'll have
a go at working them into a localhost solution to running MSDN TV with the
    downloaded .wmv files

Minas, I would have thought that building a 2-page web application to make
offline viewing easy would be right up your alley.
Maybe I should save the popup pages that control the online viewing, and
try to decipher what they're doing.
