Hi People,

 

Talman are after the following resources. If you know anyone who fits the bill please let me know.

In all cases we are after extremely intelligent, highly motivated individuals who are not afraid of the unknown.

 

There is a small finder's fee of $100 if you find the right person.

 

Senior VFP Analyst/Programmer

- experienced using VFP 7, 8 or 9 and SQL Server

- comfortable with OOP methodology

- knows how to design a decent looking screen (ie understands Windows standards)

- experience with client management a plus

 

.Net desktop developer

- C# programmer

- very comfortable with .Net framework

- worked with SQL

- could be an exceptional uni student

 

Technical writer/QA

- needs to be a computer power user (ie can work productively with Excel, Word, Visio, etc)

- needs to be able to pick up new systems quickly (ie Industry specific applications)

- will be first line of QA and testing

- will thoroughly document systems and program changes

- will proactively go through existing help to keep up to date

- all documentation will be in West Wind HTML Help Builder

- needs to understand basic HTML for marking up HTML Help

- needs to love writing and be a good writer

- needs to know how to use screen capture programs and be able to 'pretty up' images
