Don’t you need the Avtivator.CreateInstanceFrom method if the type is not in a referenced assembly or in the GAC?

Howdy again,

 

I'm trying to create an instance of a class that is inside an assembly DLL in the runtime folder. The assembly is not referenced by the main project. I'm using:

 

ObjectHandle oh = Activator.CreateInstance("Company.Product","ClassName");

 

The assembly is in Company.Product.DLL and the namespace is Company.Product. All I can get is this, with no supporting information:

 

Could not load type ClassName from assembly Company.Product

 

I know it can locate the DLL, because if I fudge the name it says FileNotFound. I’m stumped. Any suggestions?
