    Hi, Coral:

    I started reading Martin Fowler's UML Distilled -- the book is regarded the best UML introduction book by many. Here is his comment on VISIO for UML on his web site:

    I like using Visio for UML diagramming - it's cheap, flexible, and draws good diagrams.

    He also provides a link to good VISIO UML template that he is using. (http://www.phruby.com/)

     

    Also in Craig Larman’s book Applying UML and Patterns, he did all the diagrams in VISIO.
